Highlights from today's class:

• It rained hard today in the Bay Area and that probably kept most of the students at home. We spent time today cleaning up the rafter carvings and painting the carving details. Several coats of white paint are applied before they will be finish planed - we'll continue this in two weeks as there is no class next week due to holiday (President's Day).
